TREY SONGZ: Mask Refusal Sparked Fight With Cops

The Kansas City Police Department is defending its officers' actions in their arrest of Trey SongzSunday at the Chiefs-Bills game. The singer got into an altercation with security and police officers during the game at Arrowhead Stadium and was eventually led out in cuffs and arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Trey insists he was being heckled by some fans and one of the officers had it in for him, but the KCPD is telling a different story. They say the rapper refused to wear a mask during the game and fans kept telling him to put one on. Officers visited him at his seat a few times and, after repeatedly refusing to mask up, tried to escort him out. That's when Trey appeared to throw a punch or shove the officer, sparking a melee which earned him an assault charge. Trey spent the night in jail and was released Monday afternoon. (TMZ)
