KODAK BLACK: $1 Million Post and Delete

His tweet from November, where he said he'd donate money if he was released, has been deleted

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Sounds like he's being a man of his word. $150,000 during the first month of 2021 is not chump change.
  • It's an honorable move that he's still offering a helping hand on the heels of the third anniversary of the Parkland school shooting.
  • His lawyer has a point. Why are people more focused on how often he gives to charity, when others don't at all.

Some people are wondering if Kodak Black's going to own up to his $1 million promise he tweeted in November, after requesting a pardon from then President Trump

The rapper was released from federal prison last week, along with 142 others. A few months ago, he pleaded for help, tweeting, "[if freed]... I'm going to spend $1 million dollars on charity within the first year i'm out. That's on everything." But according toTMZ, that tweet has since been deleted.

Kodak's lawyer,Bradford Cohen, believes that although his "statement promising something for something in exchange is not appropriate," Kodak has been giving to charity his "whole career." Not to mention within the week of his release he "pledged $100,000 to setting up a scholarship fund in the name of Meadow Pollack. The week before he donated $50,000 to Barstool Fund to help small businesses. That's $150k and he's been out five days."
