Pop Smoke Featured in Movie Trailer for "Boogie"

Pop Smoke had a promising career before being murdered early last year. He died before finishing his album, but thanks to 50 Cent, 50 made sure the album would push forward. But on top of putting out a posthumous album, Pop made his acting debut in an upcoming movie, "Boogie." The movie is about a Chinese-American "teenager" named Alfred "Boogie" Chin as he tries to show and prove that Chinese men can play basketball while trying to pursue a young black woman as well. Pop plays Monk, who is a rival high school basketball player who keeps coming for Boogie. The movie was directed by Eddie Huang, who is known for his show "Fresh Off The Boat." And if you've ever watched that show, then you know hip hop was a part of Huang's childhood. Check out the trailer. The movie hit theaters March 5.
