Some National Guard Members Get Removed from Inauguration Detail

After the riots took place on Capitol Hill on January 6, people are not playing with this inauguration. National guards and troops were rolled into basically protect the White House and prepare for any issues that could take place during President-Elect Joe Biden's inauguration. There is definitely tight security in the D.C. area. But according to CBS Philly, at least 12 army National Guard members have been removed from security detail. "We’re out of an abundance of caution taking action and immediately removing them from the line of duty at the Capitol and the events taking place," Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said. However, there were no specific details about what led to them being removed, however, defense officials say a vetting process revealed those National Guard members previously made inappropriate comments or displayed questionable behavior. Hey, I'm good with knowing they are out of there.
