VP Elect Kamala Harris' Vogue Cover Causes a Little Uproar

By now, you may have seen Vice President Elect Kamala Harris gracing the cover of Vogue magazine. Of course the magazine is known as a fashion magazine and dons amazing looks on the cover and inside the magazine. However, some people aren't cool with the way Harris looks on the cover. So here is where the controversy starts. For one, the cover was leaked on Sunday, which shows Harris looking very laid back in a dark jacket by skinny pants, Converse and her trademark pearls. She stands against a leaf green backdrop with a pink curtain, most likely to represent her sorority, AKA. According to The New York Times, there was another Vogue cover of Harris that was more formal with Harris in a powder blue suit with an American flag pin on her lapel, her arms crossed in a sort of executive power pose against a gold curtain, which was the "digital cover." According to one journalist, Yashar Ali, her team wasn't happy with the more casual shot as the cover. Ali claims Harris' team was blindsided by Vogue, although, both looks were agreed in advance and one portrait was considered a "cover try." Are you upset with the cover art they chose to represent Harris on a fashion magazine?
