A man dressed as Santa Claus was rescued from a set of live power lines on Sunday morning. The event trended throughout social media. The California Highway Patrol's North Sacramento division arrived to the scene and this is what was reported. "A powered parachute lost power on takeoff near a school in Rio Linda, Calif., and then hit and became suspended in power lines around 11:00 a.m. local time (Sunday)," said a spokesperson with the FAA." Santa was suspended in air for all to see.
Thankfully, Santa did not receive any injuries during this incident, but the "hyper light" aircraft did shut down power to the 200 citizens in the area according to ndtv.com.
