Jada Pinkett-Smith's Mom was Hesitant on Having Red Table Talk Guest

For parents out here who are struggling to get their kids into college or even afford to get them in, I know that pain and struggle. But what made me upset was when we heard about some of these actors paying to get their kids into college, illegally. Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, designer Mossimo Gianulli did that and tried to avoid jail time. But their daughter, Olivia Jade wanted to use Red Table Talk to speak about things. However, Jada Pinkett-Smith's mom was very hesitant at first, of letting Olivia come to the table. Before they brought out Olivia, mom, Adrienne didn't feel comfortable. She said she found it ironic that Olivia chose 3 black women to reach out to for her redemption and that it displayed white privilege. Adrienne said she thought it was crazy that a white woman is coming to black women for support, when black women don't get the same treatment. Jada said it's a moment of compassion. Although they allowed Olivia to speak about things, Olivia apparently didn't realize she was a privileged young woman and what her parents did was indeed bad, although she continues to say they are good people. Olivia now sees the error of what happened.
