Jeopardy Host, Alex Trebek, Dies from Pancreatic Cancer

For as long as I can remember, Alex Trebek has been the host of the game show that definitely tested our knowledge on Jeopardy. About a year ago now, he let the fans of the show know that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He let us know he was fighting it and he would have his off and on days. Alex basically kept us updated on his health. Alex started chemo but definitely wasn't ready to retire as the game show host. When he made the announcement, he even joked saying he had to fight because his contract to host Jeopardy was for 3 more years. Unfortunately, Alex died from his cancer on Sunday at the age of 80, according to TMZ. It was so sad to hear because we were used to Alex coming in our homes for years and he became a game show host legend and I can't ever recall someone filling in for him. It will be hard to watch the show with someone else as the host. May he rest easy.
