LeBron James Turns Down LA Sheriff's Challenge To Put Up Reward Money

You never want to hear about anyone being shot. Over a week ago, there were two Los Angeles deputies who were sitting in their cop car when they were ambushed and shot. No one has found the shooter, yet. But the cops seems to be recovering. Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva put out a money reward in reward to search for the shooter, but he basically issued a challenged. He wanted LeBron to match the $175k reward. According to The Jasmine Brand, the sheriff said, "I want to make a challenge…this challenge is to LeBron James. I want you to match that and double that reward because I know you care about law enforcement." Well LeBron isn't taking that challenge. He said, "I have zero comment on the Sheriff." But he first addressed all of the injustices that is currently going on saying, "I've never in my 35 years ever condoned violence. Never have. But I also know what’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong. I grew up in the inner city in a Black community in what we call the hood or the ghetto." By the way, this is the same Sheriff's department that Vanessa Bryant is suing because several of his deputies took photos of the crash scene of her husband, Kobe, as well as the others who died from the helicopter crash, and shared the photos. She even condemned the sheriff for asking LeBron to step up and help.
