Zendaya and John David Washington's Movie Picked Up by Netflix

These actors are out here trying to get work done, even through the pandemic. You may have heard about actress Zendaya and John David Washington doing a movie together. They did and throughout the pandemic, but their movie was one of the first films to finish production. By the way, the film is called Malcolm and Marie and they shot the movie in about 15 days with strict health regulations. But that's not the big thing. Their film closed on a $30 million deal with Netflix as the streaming platform acquires the worldwide rights to the film, according to The Jasmine Brand. Sam Levinson wrote the script, produced the movie and directed it. This is not Sam's first time working with Zendaya because Sam is the one who created HBO's Euphoria, which she stars. As far as we know, the movie is about John David Washington's character, a filmmaker, and Zendaya as his girlfriend, as they come home from a movie premiere. The movie takes a drastic turn as their relationship is tested in major ways.
