Black Families Buy Land For Community and it May Become Reality Show

When you get tired of the craziness in the world surrounding your culture, you do something about it. That's what about 19 black families did. There were about 19 black families who got together to purchase a large piece of land, 96 acres in Georgia to create their own community. Talking about buying the block! It will soon be known as Freedom, Georgia. Well it looks like they could be getting a reality show. Sources told TMZ said two women from the group of families, are in heavy discussions to pitch a reality show to tell their stories and mission. Renee Walters and Ashley Scott are the two trying to kick-start everything but it sounds like they have their own negotiations they are working, for instance, they want to own the content and rights and also control how its edited and aired. You can't be mad at that. It seems like a lot of networks have reached out to them like A&E, Oxygen, HGTV and more. We hear about 15 of the families are down but 2 families opted out of the potential idea of a reality show. This would be interesting to see.
