People Want to Cancel Netflix Over "Cuties" Film

While we have been under this pandemic and quarantine, a lot of us are sitting home watching television and these streaming networks. Netflix has been streaming some interesting things, however, people are taking notice and are mad and have started #CancelNetflix all over one show. There is a French film called "Cuties" with young girls, like 11-year-old dancers twerking and dancing seductively. Now, is that really an issue considering we've seen a lot of these reality shows with young girls wearing so much makeup in these pageants or even shows with young dancers? However, this seems a bit different because even watching a clip of 11-year-olds performing certain dances makes me cringe. Well the film was debuted for Sundance and Netflix has to issue a statement after many viewers got upset over the film, according to The Jasmine Brand. Netflix stated, "We’re deeply sorry for the inappropriate artwork that we used for ‘Cuties.’ It was not OK, nor was it representative of this French film, which premiered at Sundance. We’ve now updated the pictures and description." But people aren't cool with Netflix for including this on the streaming service. Now they want to cancel the service. I mean, can't they just cancel the film and not Netflix? But are you going to cancel your subscription over this?
