Kenny Smith Walks off the Job of "Inside the NBA" To Support Protests

It makes me feel proud that athletes aren't vain and are taking a stand with the everyday person. We are all tired of looking at the news on a daily only to hear about another police shooting. Many major sports that included the NBA, MLB, MLS and WNBA decided to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake. Many games were postponed because these athletes are tired of seeing people who look like them being shot by police. But while the athletes were protesting, former basketball player Kenny Smith was in the middle of his job, TNT's Inside the NBA, and while talking about the NBA playoffs and the players taking a stand, Kenny said he felt like he should be supporting the players Kenny walked off the set in solidarity. Ernie Johnson was there and said he respected Kenny's decision and continued the show with Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal. And after the NBA players decided to postpone Wednesday's playoffs, it looks like some of the players are deciding not to continue the season and it's not because of the COVID-19, but because of social injustice. But it seems as if the LA Lakers and LA Clippers have reportedly voted not to continue the season.
