Trey Songz has been very vocal during a lot of these protests lately, supporting black all the way. Black Lives, of course. Well he has also been putting out music and he recently dropped a video for his song called "Circles." Trey is basically celebrating black love in the video and described the video and song as some of the circles we go through in relationships. But of course, you have people thinking everyone should always be included in things. Trey posted a trailer on his Instagram and one person posted on his page, "Why is "black" love different from "white" love? Love IS love." Oh, sis! Trey responded, saying "because black love, families were torn apart purposely. Mothers raped, Men taken from homes. America has always wanted the black family separated because of the strength we have when we are one. They go so far as to say black fathers don’t exist and black love doesn’t exist. So pardon me while I show black love and not all love. The stereotypes, the hardships, the black man and woman get the bottom of the barrel in America. So when you’re fighting for love and fighting against the world’s obsession with the oppression of your people, there are underlying pains in your relationship that are not in others." Boom! There you have it. He said what he said.
