Breonna Taylor Graces the Cover of Oprah Winfrey's Magazine

Although tragic, it's an honor to be on the cover of Oprah Winfrey's "O" magazine. Oprah's face has always graced her magazine, but this time, she is sending a message. Oprah switched things up and decided to put Breonna Taylor's face on the cover the magazine. That says a lot. That says to arrest Breonna's killers. Breonna was shot and killed in her home when officers tried to attempt a no-knock raid. The police is shot her are still running free and that's a problem. That's one reason why these protests continue. This is a historical moment because no other face has ever been featured on O magazine. But it is important. And according to TMZ, word is Oprah did speak to Breonna's mother, Tamika Palmer about the cover of the magazine before it was released and there was no hesitation in the decision to honor Breonna. Right next to Breonna's face on the magazine cover reads, "If you turn a blind eye to racism, you become an accomplice to it." Emblazoned on the cover are the words ... "HER LIFE MATTERS."
