Migos Sues Lawyer for Swindling Them Out of Millions

It seems pretty hard to get someone trustworthy to represent you, especially when it comes down to the celebrities. Lawyers, everyone needs lawyers, but some have turned out to be dirty. That's basically what Migos is screaming. According to Variety, the group said they were cheated out of millions of dollars by their former lawyer, Damien Granderson. On top of that, Migos members said Granderson, "abused his position of trust as Migos’ fiduciary from the moment he was retained" as their lawyer. The group said the attorney got them wrapped up in a bad deal with 300 Entertainment, which they left back in 2017, but it cost them a grip to get out. They aren't saying how much they are suing for, but better believe it is for millions of dollars. The lawsuit accuses Granderson of "betray[ing] Migos when he failed disclose both the complete nature of his relationship with QCM and the complete nature of the conflict in representing both QCM and Migos." Well all of this prompted CEO Pee Thomas, to respond. In a very lengthy Instagram post he made it clear that he or his company did not steal from Migos and calls the lawsuit an unfortunate situation. Pee continued saying, "I will not stand by and let Quality Control Music’s reputation and everything we have built and sacrificed be tarnished by allegations of unfair and unjust business practices." Let's see how this will end.
