The FBI Says There Was No Crime Committed in Bubba Wallace Noose Case

Imagine how you'd feel walking into your place of employment as one of the only black employers and you see a noose. You would be outraged, upset and angry because that's how Bubba Wallace felt when he walked to his team garage on Sunday to discover a noose. Of course it added to the controversy that NASCAR banned the Confederate flag from its events. After the noose was found, an investigation was under way. According to TMZ, the FBI said there was no crime committed and that the noose had been there since 2019. What in the hell? That still doesn't make it right. But NASCAR says the item in question is a "garage door pull rope fashioned like a noose" and that it had been positioned in the garage since last Fall. NASCAR says Bubba wasn't the target of a hate crime. Bubba happened to be assigned to that garage where the door pull was hanging since last fall, but a member of his crew is the one who noticed the "noose-like" rope hanging and reported it.
