So for some, the next bet is to go online and find some to purchase. But don't fall for everything. According to ABC News, the FDA is issuing a warning about 9 hand sanitizers made by a company. The FDA says not to use hand sanitizers manufactured by the Mexican company Eskbiochem SA de CV because the products contain methanol, a toxic substance that can cause short and long term health problems. In fact, the FDA says, "Methanol is not an acceptable ingredient for hand sanitizers and should not be used due to its toxic effects." FDA has advised the company to pull the brands off the market, but Eskbiochem hasn't done it, yet. So be careful when you're ordering these things, which, some people have had to resort to doing.
