Atlanta Cop Who Shot Rayshard Brooks Faces Felony Murder Charge

Even with the protests going on about trying to get social justice within the black communities, some people still aren't listening. But it seems like people are slowly listening and holding cops accountable for their actions of shooting and killing people. The cop who shot Rayshard Brooks, Garrett Rolfe has been fired from the police department but according to CNN, DA Paul Howard announced 11 charges against Rolfe, including a felony murder charge. He fired three shots at Rayshard with two bullets hitting Rayshard in the back and another bullet hitting a car that had three people inside. Devin Brosnan was the other officer at the shooting and faces an aggravated assault charge for standing on Brooks in the parking lot. Arrest warrants have been issued for Rolfe and Brosnan and they were asked to surrender by Thursday evening. Rolfe could face the death penalty if convicted with the felony murder charge.
