Renovation on Kanye West's Childhood Home In Chicago Gets Stopped By City

Kanye West is a business man, however, it seems like he doesn't always get it right when trying to build onto his homes. Remember when Kanye was trying to get some dome-like buildings on his California property? He didn't have the proper permits for things and there was always complaints from the neighbors about construction. Ultimately, his domes disappeared. Well Kanye has been trying to get his childhood home in Chicago renovated since February but now it looks like things have to stop with that. There seems to be a lot going on. According to the Chicago Tribune, the city issued a stop-work order in February after it said it found plaster had been removed without a building permit. This makes the second time that the city has filed a citation against the house after it reportedly landed in demolition court last year after the city claimed it had "dangerous and unsafe conditions. However, work on the home resumed since the latest issue. At this point, Kanye may just want to buy up the home and get proper papers and permits, knock it down and build it back up and not as a dome that he once wanted for his California property.
