Spike Lee has had a few things on Netflix in the last 2 years, such as his series, "She's Gotta Have it." While that show didn't pick up a third season, Spike is still putting out work. In fact, he has a movie set to premiere on Netflix in June. He just released the trailer for his new movie called "Da 5 Bloods." And if you know about Spike's movies, you know the movies don't always match up with the titles. It's not about gang members. The movie is deeper than that. So what's the movie about? According to Hip Hop Wired, the film centers around four African-American Vietnam veterans – Paul (Delroy Lindo), Otis (Clarke Peters), Eddie (Norm Lewis), and Melvin (Isiah Whitlock, Jr.) – who come together to fulfill a pact made when they were young soldiers serving on the front lines of Nam. Now they are older and the four men return to Vietnam five decades later to not only retrieve the remains of their deceased squadron leader, played by Chadwick Boseman, but also dig up a treasure chest filled with enough gold to have them set for life. Check out the trailer for the movie which will be released on June 15 on Netflix.
