States Side-Eyeing Georgia for Reopening, Killer Mike Won't Open Shop

Even though a lot of people are ready to be off this coronavirus quarantine, a lot of people still think it's too soon for certain businesses to be open. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is ready to open the state's economy, but Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms doesn't believe the state is ready for that, according to TMZ. Gov. Kemp will basically reopen businesses starting on Friday. But here is where I feel like people will be guinea pigs. Some businesses that he say will open include hair and nail salons, tattoo parlors and gyms, despite the fact they require close contact with or between customers. However, some people don't plan to open their businesses, like Killer Mike, who owns a chain barbershops in Atlanta. He thinks it's too soon and it will put lives in danger. Killer Mike told TMZ race is a factor, because African Americans are being impacted by COVID-19 at a very high rate, and that's the community he serves.
