Fast Food Chains to Offer Free Meals For People

This coronavirus pandemic has been hurting a lot of people but the crazy thing is that it has also brought people together. While many businesses are shut down to help flatten the curve of the pandemic, some people aren't able to feed their families. Thanks to a lot of celebrities who have helped with the food banks around to help people out. But now some fast food chains are doing something special to help as well. Wendy's announced they will offer free 4-piece nuggets this Friday at all participating drive-thru locations. No purchase is necessary and there is no set up. On top of that, McDonald's is offering free "Thank You Meals" to healthcare workers and first responders. They will offer the meals beginning today at participating McDonald's and those essential workers just need to show their badge, according to Hip Hop Wired. "We have been inspired by the way our franchisees have been going above and beyond to support their local communities throughout this trying time," said Joe Erlinger, President, McDonald’s USA in a statement.
