Rihanna Teams With Twitter CEO To Help Domestic Violence During Quarantine

During this coronavirus pandemic, it seems like you learn a lot about people. While many of us are on stay-at-home orders, we're basically forced to spend time with our families. While that is nothing bad to some, there are people who aren't experiencing a good quarantine. Unfortunately, there seems to be a spike in domestic violence during the lockdown. How do they get help? TMZ reports Rihanna and Twitter's CEO, Jack Dorsey, announced they will send a $4.2 million grant to the Mayor's Fund for Los Angeles to help abuse victims. The money will cover housing, meals and counseling for about 90 victims per week for 10 weeks, then an additional 90 victims per week for 10 weeks after that. Both Rihanna and Jack have also donated money to help the COVID-19 relief as well. Jussie Smollett also jumped back on social media and was also vocal about domestic violence during the pandemic as well.
