Celebs Get Easy Access to COVID-19 Testing As Others Search for Tests

When word came out about coronavirus testing, movies popped in my head. The wealthy versus the average American and the struggle of getting access to these tests is what I thought about. But, it seems like that will be an issue. Have you realized that some NBA teams have already been tested for COVID-19 and it's a struggle just to find some of these tests? There have been politicians, celebrities and others who have been tested. Meanwhile access to these tests isn't easily accessible because there is a short supply, leaving health care workers and many sick people unable to get diagnoses, some prominent personalities have obtained tests without exhibiting symptoms or having known contact with someone who has the virus, as required by some testing guidelines, according to the New York Times. But the President didn't comfort the question yesterday when he was asked if or how the wealthy will have easy access to the tests. The President said, "You’d have to ask them that question." He continued to say, "Perhaps that’s been the story of life. That does happen on occasion, and I’ve noticed where some people have been tested fairly quickly." It's a sketchy situation. Meanwhile, there are testing sites popping up around, locally, but you won't be able to just get a test. Your physician or doctor will have to recommend you get tested. Basically, you would need a referral from your doctor, according to NBC 10. But the idea that some NBA teams were tested without even showing symptoms, gives us a glance, that, yes, the elite are definitely privileged.
