Cardi B. Hit With Assault & Battery Lawsuit, But Witnesses Are On Her Side

Another day and another lawsuit, however, this one may be full of bull. A woman is suing Cardi B. Emani Ellis, was who as security guard, filed a lawsuit against the rapper claiming she was at work in Beverly Hills 2 years ago when she had an encounter with Cardi. She claims Cardi spit on her and cursed her out with racial slurs, then hit the woman, according to TMZ. However, some witnesses say the woman was in the wrong and not Cardi. Cardi was in a medical building leaving her appointment when Ellis tried to come over and either record video or take photos of Cardi and Cardi didn't want to be filmed in the doctor's office. Makes sense. On top of that, Cardi was 4 months pregnant. Witnesses say Ellis got upset and she and Cardi got into an argument and someone got between the two but things didn't get physical and Cardi didn't call the woman any racial slurs, contrary to what Ellis claims. The woman was fired for violating Cardi's privacy and Ellis is suing for assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress. But with what the claims from the witness, this doesn't sound like Eliis will win.
