Sixers Pay Tribute to Kobe Bryant at Game, Shaq Shares Memories of Kobe

Of course the news that hit hard for people this week was the death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 others who were aboard his private helicopter which crashed. News of his death hits harder for those that Kobe has played with or even players who were inspired by his skills. On Tuesday night, the Sixers honored Kobe before their game. ESPN reported the team had a moment of silence and also displayed the number 33 on the court. That was his basketball jersey's number when he played high school ball at Lower Merion. While the Sixers did their warm-up, they wore their traditional jerseys but had either the No. 8 or No. 24 to honor Kobe's numbers with the Lakers. On top of that, Joel Embiid wore No. 24 The Sixers went on to beat the Golden State Warriors 115-104.

Also, Shaquille O'Neal had an emotional moment speaking about his dear friend on TNT. He was definitely tearful as he described his brotherhood with Kobe. He said he hasn't felt pain as sharp as Kobe's death, in a long time.
