Usher, Sheila E. And FKA Twigs Honor Prince At Grammys 2020

62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards - Show

Usher, Sheila E. and FKA Twigs teamed up for a special tribute performance for Prince at the 62nd Grammy Awards. Prince passed away suddenly on April 21, 2016. Throughout his iconic career, he won 7 Grammys and was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004. Usher, Sheila E. and FKA Twigs honored him by playing sweet renditions of three of his greatest hits

Usher kicked things off with a dazzling rendition of 'Little Red Corvette,' which he paired with an equally dazzling pair of pants Prince surely would have loved. He was joined by Prince's former protege Sheila E. on the drums as the duo performed 'When Doves Cry' and 'Kiss.' Usher, unsurprisingly, brought his famed dance moves to the tribute performance. He was joined by FKA Twigs during 'When Doves Cry,' with the British songstress performing an impressive pole dance during the number.

Usher's tribute to Prince on Sunday evening was just the beginning. On Tuesday (January 28), the Recording Academy will host Let's Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince concert. The Grammy Salute performance will honor the late musical icon with performances from numerous artists he influenced, including BeckAlicia KeysJohn LegendChris Martin, and Juanes.
