Band Still Pushes for Lawsuit Against Juice WRLD Over "Lucid Dreams" Melody

A while back, we mentioned that a band called Yellowcard hit Juice WRLD with a lawsuit. The group claims Juice stole the melody from their 2006 song "Holly Wood Died" for Juice's song "Lucid Dreams." Well even after Juice passed from suffering a seizure, you would think people would be a little sympathetic. But nope, the group wants their $15 million. According to The Jasmine Brand, reports say they are continuing their lawsuit, hitting Juice's estate for their money. The band, reportedly put the already pending lawsuit on hold in the past couple of weeks to because of Juice's death. But, in the wake of the song’s return to the Billboard Top 10, the group decided to move forward with the suit. The deadline for the estate to respond has been now pushed to February 4, 2020.
