Philadelphia Eagles Select Meek Mill Song For Their Super Bowl LII Intro

Meek Mill's hometown of Philly is continuing to show the MC some love, as he's serving his controversial 2-4 year prison sentence.

At Super Bowl LII this weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles will run out onto the field to Meek's “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro).” The team's defensive end Brandon Graham confirmed this to NFL.com. "If you're going to go with a Philly song, that's the one you're going with," he said. Eagles rookie defensive end Derek Barnett also added: "Meek, you know, he's locked up right now. So we have to hold the city down for him."

The incarcerated rapper has already reacted to this news. In a statement, Meek said that it "really lifted my spirit to hear the team rallying around my songs." The Eagles have run out onto football fields with the song on multiple occasions. It's sort of like the team's unofficial anthem. Now, the millions of viewers of the 2018 Super Bowl will hear Meek's voice during the game. If you ask us, that's a W for the rapper.
