- Up-and-coming rapper DDG recently spoke out about the racist comments Halle Bailey received while promoting her upcoming role as Ariel in the remake of Little Mermaid.
- While the rapper recently told the Bootleg Kev Podcast he had no idea racism still existed. Several people criticized the comment, which DDG maintains was “exaggerated.”
- Actress and comedian Amanda Seales was one to warn Halle about associating with the rapper. “You gotta break up with him. You gotta do it. ‘Cause, she may not get an STD. But she’s gonna a get STS – sexually transmitted stupidity,” Seales said on a video posted to social media.
- DDG commented on the post, which received over ten thousand comments, “How old is she? Why would you even be speaking on a young relationship like that?” After finding out Seales is 41, DDG then asked why at Seales’ “big age,” she was talking about young love.
