- DJ Hed, known as an L.A. DJ and correspondent on TMZ, responded to the Wiz Khalifa incident at Club Poppy.
- "Never seen Wiz act like that before," said Hed in a tweet. "I hope it’s an isolated incident. I am not nor will I ever support any artist/label blatantly and aggressively disrespecting DJ’s in my city, where we are homies or not.”
- Meanwhile, Bootleg Kev, Hed’s former co-host, was there the night of the incident and offered context to what went down, saying that DJ Mike Danger had an off night and the host, MC Tron, was “terrible.”
- Kev posted several videos from the evening and said the DJ had made several mistakes, and Wiz was upset over the lack of spins the DJ had given his new album, Multiverse.
