We are all sick and tired of hearing about mass shootings, especially when it takes away our young babies. We are definitely hurting with the recent mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas where 19 kids and 2 teachers were killed. Yes, there needs to be better gun laws so this doesn't happen again. Some people want to take action right away and some people want to give examples to these lawmakers. Apparently, people are asking "Abbott Elementary" writer and Philly native, Quinta Brunson, to incorporate a school shooting episode of her comedy series. That would definitely take away from the show's comedy. And while we get it, why do these lawmakers need an example when real mass school shootings have happened? They don't need examples on series. Having Quinta write something like this into a show won't create change, the way people may think. Quinta even responded on her Twitter and was basically in shock that people want to incorporate tragedy into entertainment.
