Janet Jackson Scored Big Numbers Across Lifetime-A&E

Janet Jackson’s documentary put up big numbers for Lifetime and A&E. During the Friday and Saturday (January 28 and 29) airing, the network had over nine million viewers, with the biggest viewership happening on Friday at 9 p.m. EST with 2.114 million viewers watching. The first two episodes focused on Janet’s first two husbands, James DeBarge and René Elizondo; there were no filming obstacles to jump through due to neither signing an NDA. Saturday nights episodes were less lackluster as they covered things already known. Janet's third marriage with Wissam Al Mana wasn’t discussed. According to Showbiz411.com, the Janet documentary didn’t discuss her hatred for her father, Joe Jackson, or his illegitimate daughter and longtime affair. The outlet says Joe traveled to Brazil for his 88th birthday, where he died from a heart attack and stroke, and it was Janet that had to get him from Sao Paolo and bring his body back to the states. What did you think of Janet Jackson’s documentary?
