Travis Scott Getting Hit With Lawsuits Over Astroworld Safety

This weekend, it was heartbreaking to hear of the tragedy that took place in Houston during Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival. There were several people in attendance, when at some point, people starting passing out. Others were pinned during a stampede and were pushed against the barricades as fans starting pushing and trying to get closer to the show. According to several news outlets, there were at least 8 dead, the youngest being a 14-year-old boy. There were at least 11 people in critical condition while over 300 were injured. It was to the point some bodies had to be identified. According to TMZ, lawsuits are starting to roll in. We saw this coming and we are sure it has something to do with the safety issues. Travis and Live Nation have just been sued by somebody alleging they were injured during the festival. Manual Souza says he was hurt and alleges both negligence and gross negligence on behalf of Travis and others. Another lawsuit even lists Drake. In that lawsuit, the woman, Kristian Paredes is suing Travis, Drake and LN for negligence as well, claiming that Travis' concert history should've been at the forefront of everyone's mind who helped plan and execute Astroworld this year. In that lawsuit, it claims Travis and Drake incited the crowd. While people were unfortunately passing out or dying, the show kept going. Travis said he was unaware of what was going on. Many people are criticizing him for not taking notice during his show and not stopping the show, comparing him to other artists who have done so. Travis did address the tragedy after finding out about what happened, saying they are fully cooperating with the Houston PD. Rapper, Roddy Rich is doing something thoughtful. Roddy hopped on social media and said that he'd donate his net compensation to the families of those who died at the festival.
