Chadwick Boseman Will Be Honored By Netflix and Howard University

Chadwick Boseman was a great actor and had big career and of course it hurt when he died from cancer. However, the actor is not forgotten at all. His alma mater, Howard University and Netflix is honoring the late actor with with a $5.4 million scholarship, according to the Washington Post. Netflix has established the endowed scholarship at Howard University, named Chadwick A. Boseman Memorial Scholarship and it will cover four years of college tuition in full for students preferentially coming from the dramatic arts field. Netflix's co-CEO Ted Sarandos said, "While [Boseman] was taken from us too soon, his spirit is with us always in his work and the good that he has inspired. He always spoke of his time at Howard and the positive way it shaped his life and career. Now, we will have the opportunity to give many future superheroes a chance to experience the same. We are grateful to Simone and Chadwick’s whole family and our partners at Howard University for making this possible.” Definitely some kind words. And of course a Howard recently renamed their College of Fine Arts to the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
