Andre 3000 Left Off Kanye West's Donda Album

Kanye West upset many people when Donda was released. However, the album has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, according to The Jasmine Brand. Kanye is one of only seven artists with 10 #1 albums, joining the ranks of Jay-Z with 14 and Eminem with 10. Apparently he had a lot of people drop verses for songs on the album, that didn't make the album. Soulja Boy has definitely been expressing his hurt feelings on social media. At one point, Chris Brown was upset as well. However, over the weekend, there was a track that was leaked that featured Andre 3000. By the way, Drake leaked that track, called "Life of the Party." On the track, Andre gets a bit personal rapping about his mom and Kanye's mom, Donda. It was deep, but then Ye' hops on the track with a little Drake diss here and there. Well, Andre said he didn't jump on a diss track but he hopped on something that was supposed to be clean. Andre issued the statement in Rolling Stone. Basically, Andre has no issue with anyone and said he would have liked to have been on Certified Lover Boy as well. "A few weeks ago Kanye reached out about me being a part of the Donda album. I was inspired by his idea to make a musical tribute to his mom,” Andre 3000 told RS. “It felt appropriate to me to support the Donda concept by referencing my own mother, who passed away in 2013. We both share that loss. I thought it was a beautiful choice to make a clean album but, unfortunately, I didn’t know that was the plan before I wrote and recorded my verse. It was clear to me that an edited ‘clean’ format of the verse would not work without having the raw, original also available. So, sadly, I had to be omitted from the original album release.”
