The "Fresh Prince" Reboot Replaces Showrunners

Many of use cannot wait to check out the reboot of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Even Will Smith gave his blessing for the reboot. The idea of a reboot actually happened with Morgan Cooper did a viral video which was a reimagined version of the comedy, as a drama series. Well, it got some attention because it got the approval for a reboot and Peacock has ordered 2 seasons of the show. However, we hear there were some creative differences with the showrunners. Of course a showrunner is the person who has overall creative authority of the show. According to Variety, Chris Collins will no longer serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series, which is titled “Bel-Air.” He was also set to co-write with Morgan Cooper. Instead, T.J. Brady and Rasheed Newson have stepped in to serve as co-showrunners. They have a pretty good rep as well because they've worked together on shows like "The Chi" and "Animal Kingdom." Morgan remains onboard the show as writer, director, and co-executive producer. Will Smith will still be a part of the reboot as well.
