COVID Claims Life of Michael Jai White's Oldest Son

  • The son of actor Michael Jai White has died of complications from COVID-19.
  • The 53-year-old "Black Dynamite" star revealed the tragic news on Tuesday, "a few months" after his 38-year-old son -- who he didn't identify by name -- succumbed to the viral illness. White says by the time his son checked into a hospital, "COVID was waiting for him. That was the knockout blow."
  • White says because he fathered his oldest child when he was just 15, the two had basically "grown up together." White's son leaves behind a wife and six children, his grieving father notes.
