DaBaby Issues an Apology Following Rolling Loud and IG Story

It seems like DaBaby may have heard me when I said he needed a PR person to help him out. After his performance at Rolling Loud, he made some statements that just didn't sit well with people and came off homophobic. DaBaby tried to explain things via his Instagram Story, but it just didn't come through well. He basically said people only got 5 seconds of a clip and ran with it. He said something along the lines of what he and his fans have going on at his shows are just that and everyone was rocking with him. But they weren't. Maybe he caught wind of how his IG story sounded because he decided to issue a better apology via Twitter. He tweeted, "anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies." But then after that apology, it's like DaBaby had some things to get off of his chest in regards to people who like to use Black rappers for promotion. It sounds like he may have been dropped from some endorsements with his tweet, "for any brands, networks, or artists that like to profit off of black rappers influence on the culture, without understanding it or having the patience to deal with what comes with the position we play in our culture." So will that apology work from DaBaby compared to his statement from yesterday?
