Although Issa Rae is about to end her series of Insecure on HBO, she is still working with the network. Some of you remember Project Greenlight which helped filmmakers get a look, first-time filmmakers at that. Well the show did well, but then ended. According to Hip Hop Wired, Issa has been tapped to lead the revival of Project Greenlight for HBO Max and Miramax. And what's even dope about this is that this upcoming season will focus on talented female filmmakers who are given the chance to direct a feature film. Issa will be the executive producer of the show while providing advice and mentorship. The show's reboot will be on HBO Max.
