- The mother of Bow Wow and Future’s children held a Q&A on her YouTube channel and one fan took the opportunity to call Joie Chavis a gold digger.
- Chavis didn’t let the comment fly by and decided to answer it saying,“A lot of people say that but I’m not...if that's the case, I'd be dating everybody that tries to talk to me with money...I've worked since I was fifteen, like, I take care of my kids. I don't get any child support."
- Chavis, who is a dancer, went on to say that she can take care of her children, Shai and Hendrix, and doesn’t ask for money from their famous fathers.
- “If their father wants to do things for them and then they do that on their own time if they want to,”says Chavis.
