Pharrell is speaking out after his cousin was killed by police last week. On Monday, the super-producer and hitmaker posted on Instagram that Donald Lynch was killed by the cops at Virginia Beach Oceanfront late on Friday night. There were a trio of shootings that evening, which led to two people being killed and eight others being injured. Pharrell wrote, "The loss of these lives is a tragedy beyond measure. My cousin Donovon was killed during the shootings. He was a bright light and someone who always showed up for others. It is critical my family and the other victims’ families get the transparency, honesty and justice they deserve. Virginia Beach is the epitome of hope and tenacity and, as a community, we will get through this and come out even stronger." We previously reported that former Bad Girls Club star Deshayla Harris was also killed that night in Virginia Beach — by a stray bullet.
