You know I am all for this. Sports commentator, Stephen A. Smith is definitely all for HBCU's. He attended one and just a few years ago, before COVID, he was in Wilmington, Delaware for an HBCU week. Well the ESPN personality is about to speak more on HBCU's because he is doing a docuseries. According to Deadline, his new production venture Mr. SAS Productions, which currently produces Stephen A’s World and co-produces Why Not Us? for ESPN, has struck a deal that will celebrate and highlight the importance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities in American Society. I cannot wait for this docuseries. The series will be called "Black Excellence" and it will have subjects on the impact across American politics, business, culture, sports and entertainment. Plus, you can expect to see interviews with celebrities who have even attended HBCU's like Vice President Kamala Harris, Spike Lee, Taraji P. Henson and more. It's slated to premiere in 2022.
