Miami is really about to represent with the City Girls. Issa Rae will be working with the duo, JT and Yung Miami for an HBO Max series. Issa is one of the persons who is leading the series, which, will follow two estranged high school friends from Miami who reunite to start a rap group, according to Hip Hop Wired. You see the connection, right? Clearly, this 8-part series will be based off of the City Girls, as both JT and Yung Miami will serve as co-executive producers. There is no set name for the series right now, but is tentatively titled RAP SH*T. The City Girls will also share their duties with their label heads for their Quality Control Films. We're not sure who will play the young ladies but casting is underway.
