U.S. Sees 200k COVID Cases in One Day

If you don't think coronavirus is a thing, you are in denial. It's getting worse in the United States and it seems like people don't care. But you should. On Wednesday, the numbers of people infected with COVID-19 surpassed 200,000 in one day, according to Today. The nation is in a dangerous space. It's gotten to the point that many places have of course, issued new restrictions. Even the CDC is shortening the recommended quarantine period. It was recommended people should quarantine for 14 days, but now they say it can be 10 days if people show no symptoms and 7 days if they test negative. But let's tell you how serious it is locally. New Jersey has changed their travel advisory. Gov. Phil Murphy advises people should not leave the state, according to NBC 10. The exception is for essential workers or those who travel back and forth to neighboring states. If you come into New Jersey from another location, he recommends you have to quarantine. Also, the COVID cases have gotten so bad that Montgomery County hospitals are near capacity. Even some staff members are getting sick. Please adhere to the recommendations because this is not a game and if things don't change, we could all go back into lockdown.
