Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America" has been a cult classic. The movie was hilarious with the actor and comedian playing several characters. So imagine the hype when there was word about a sequel. Over 20 years now, we can expect "Coming to America 2" but it looks like it will be on and popping for streaming on Amazon. According to Variety, the movie is in the process of being sold by distributor Paramount Pictures to Amazon Studios. Insiders say the deal is roughly $125 million. This makes some sense, considering there are theaters that are closing because of the pandemic. The sequel was supposed to be out on Christmas day, but because of the new date is now December 18. So what can we expect from Prince Akeem, played by Eddie? Well he is about to become the king of Zamunda but finds out he has a son in America. And yes, we will see some familiar faces who were in the first film.
