Regal Cinemas to Close Indefinitely Because of COVID-19

This 'rona is really bugging me. Of course when the pandemic hit, a lot of businesses had to close and a lot of people lost their jobs. While the country slowly reopens, businesses were reopening and things were trying to get back to some normalcy. I was able to go to the movie theaters just weeks ago, while being socially distanced. Throughout the pandemic, a lot of movies were being streamed because the movie theaters were close. But now, the pandemic is still messing with businesses because Regal Cinemas will be closing its door indefinitely, according to Business Insider. The announcement was made this Thursday morning. The company will indefinitely close all 536 of its US theaters and it will affect 45,000 jobs, with 40,000 of those in the US. CEO Mooky Greidinger said there are no clear plans on a reopening timeline because it may be in two months or a little longer. Since there aren't a lot of new movies in theaters, and because of the limited amount of people that can be in a theater at once, the movie theater is losing money. Do you blame it on streaming services through the pandemic?
