The justice system is flawed when it comes to black people. Breonna Taylor, no really, say that name to yourself and tell me how you feel. She was shot to death in her home when Louisville, Kentucky cops busted into her home on a no-knock warrant. While they claim they announced who they were, Breonna's boyfriend says the opposite and when he thought the police were intruders, that's when shots rang out between he and police and that's when bullets hit Breonna as she lie in her bed. No one has been arrested but on Wednesday, many of us were waiting to hear the results of 3 of the police. Out of 3, only one officer, who is now a former officer, was charged with anything. Let's be clear, he wasn't charged for Breonna's death, but he was charged with wanton endangerment. Brett Hankison was charged for shooting into a neighboring apartment, according to TMZ. By the way, if you still don't understand, no one was charged for Breonna's murder. The family's legal team that include attorney Ben Crump felt some type of way as we all do. Crump tweeted, "if Brett Hankison's behavior was wanton endangerment to people in neighboring apartments, then it should have been wanton endangerment in Breonna Taylor's apartment too. In fact, it should have been ruled wanton murder!" And you already know there was unrest in the city of Louisville. The fight for justice continues.
