Holidays in the pandemic will definitely be different. Some of us are used to getting Thanksgiving Day dinner together while watching a few parades on television. With the coronavirus, crowds just won't work. So as far as the Thanksgiving Day parade in Philly, it won't be happening, according to 6 ABC. That was announced on Tuesday, that there will be no large public events through February 2021. But wait, although there won't be a parade, a celebration will still continue with 6 ABC's anchors as they host a 6ABC Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Celebration. Meanwhile over in New York, the huge Macy's traditional parade won't be happening live. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Monday this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will happen, just without crowds. Deadline reports the huge balloons won't be controlled and held by people, but special vehicles and it will be presented on NBC as a special with some taped portions of the parade.
